White 2019 Honda Passport

The Honda Passport has taken the streets of Arlington by storm, making both drivers and automotive experts take notice. Now that the 2019 Honda Passport reviews are coming in, it’s proving itself a standout in the midsize SUV class. Find out what the big names in the auto industry are saying in the Honda Passport reviews below!

Edmunds.com ranked the 2019 Honda Passport as their pick for #1 in Midsize SUVs, praising the interior comfort of the SUV by saying, “The Passport is spacious and does comfort better than many in the segment. It has a wonderful ride quality, seats that you can spend all day in, a good tri-zone climate control, and available heated and ventilated seats.”

J.D. Power

When it comes to performance, the Passport delivers according to J.D. Power, who notes, “Sounding terrific when revved—and providing plenty of power—the Passport’s smooth and refined 3.5-liter V-6 engine is fairly fuel-efficient. The optional torque-vectoring AWD comes in handy when punching it to exit your subdivision onto a busy street, and in the mud the Passport acquitted itself well, churning through wet but not deep muck without concern. Flooring the gas pedal from a stop on dirt produced rapid acceleration thanks to the AWD system.”

Kelley Blue Book

KBB.com* was impressed by the standard safety and other features in the Passport, noting “Honda Sensing, Honda’s extensive suite of safety features, comes standard across all trims, as well as 20-inch wheels, which are normally upgrades on many models and not even optional on most base-model SUVs. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on all but the base Sport trim.”

Bryan Wong, from Cars.com, remarks on the utility of the Passport, saying “My favorite interior innovation may have been underneath the cargo floor: a large storage bin with two cubbies. One of them was large enough to accommodate my backpack — not always the case with these underfloor bins. The bin is also removable, so it can be taken out to be washed, making it ideal to store muddy or dirty items so they don’t get the interior messy; a plastic bin is far easier to wash out than a carpeted cargo area.”
