Our customers love the Honda Pilot, and so do we. Its sharp looks, its plethora of cool features, its spacious interior – there is a lot to love! If you’re like a lot of Arlington drivers, you may be thinking of getting one yourself. But how does it stack up against the competition? We think the Pilot does pretty well compared to its competitors, and, to prove it, we’ve put together a detailed side-by-side comparison of the Honda Pilot vs. Toyota Highlander. So, which is better, the Pilot or Highlander? Let’s find out.
What could you do with an extra $3,000? We’re guessing you could put it to good use. But that’s approximately the difference in MSRPs for the base models of the Pilot and Highlander. The Toyota Highlander LE comes in at $34,600, while the 2020 Pilot LX lands at just $31,650*. Of course, you can save even more when you take advantage of our new vehicle specials. When it comes to choosing between the Pilot or Highlander, we think the Pilot is clearly the better deal.
The new Honda Pilot comes equipped with the Road Departure Mitigation System, which alerts you if you start to drift out of your lane without employing the turn signal. It also provides steering, torque, and braking assistance to help keep the vehicle in its lane. Pretty cool, right? Well, don’t expect to find that feature on the Highlander! Honda also provides roadside assistance for an entire year longer than Toyota (3 years/36,000 miles from Honda, 2 years/unlimited miles from Toyota). Who doesn’t like roadside assistance? It provides a little extra peace of mind and less worry about getting stranded along one of our Memphis area roads.
If there’s one thing passengers need, it’s room. The Honda Pilot delivers on that. It delivers nine and a half more cubic feet of passenger volume than the Toyota Highlander. If you polled your passengers about whether they’d want to ride in the Pilot or Highlander, we’re betting they’d choose the one with more room.
You’ve learned so much about the Pilot now, you might as well as come in for a test drive. We make it easy for you to get behind the wheel of your next vehicle. You can even apply for financing online. We’re just a short drive away from Cordova. So drop by or contact us today!
